If you are looking for a relaxing family vacation, CasaMenta is the perfect choice. Our charming villa is located in the village of Marčana, near the historic city of Pula. Villa CasaMenta is a harmonious eco-friendly Villa in Istria with a uniquely decorated interior, where the focus is on the personal experience.
It is divided into 2 separate houses, which we rent together as one private unit, ensuring complete privacy for guests, making it a perfect choice for two families wanting to vacation together, while still maintaining their own privacy. The Villa hosts a maximum of 10 guests (8+2).
Both houses were built in the 1920s and have undergone many renovations, the latest of which was in 2026, while still preserving the traditional Istrian architecture. We have created a sustainable and holistic home, where you can sleep peacefully, recharge spiritually and gain an insight into our local life.
You can also enjoy the romantic aroma garden, which promises you many happy hours. You can expect absolute peace and relaxation. The 26 m² saltwater pool invites you to refresh yourself and splash, while the spacious 600 m² property offers plenty of room to unwind. There is also an open playground for children nearby, and the nearest beach is only 9 km away.
To make your stay even more relaxing, there is a wellness area with a Turkish and Finnish sauna and a massage table. Fitness possibilities and professional massages are also provided. Outside in the garden you have complete privacy. Plunge into your private saltwater pool, sunbathe and prepare your favorite BBQ dishes.
The interior has plenty of natural light and the balcony overlooking the garden is spacious enough to host sunset dinners. The house has unique charm and provides both privacy and the ultimate local experience.

Casa Menta is a plastic-free home, where we recycle and compost. We support small local food producers. Our furniture is made of wood and includes antiques. We use eco-friendly cleaning products and cosmetics. Bedding, pillows, and blankets are made from antiallergenic natural fibers, free from harmful chemicals. We have smart solutions for saving water. Our house uses a solar system for heating water and indoor spaces. A yearly audit of cleaning products, cosmetics, and resource consumption by the Eco Domus certification program confirms that our villa embodies the eco standards.
SUMMARY:
Guests are able to use the entire property and do not have to share it with other guests.

Hello, my name is Marli and I would like to welcome you to Marčana, Istria! I am emotionally connected to this little place because my family has lived here for over 250 years. When my husband and I got married in 1990, we decided to stay here, to start our family and to renovate the old house and build our home here. In 2011 we started renovating the second part of the house and so CasaMenta was born! We designed every detail with our guests' comfort in mind.
